The company Tisacoop has been importing and distributing food products and commodities into Serbia since 1990. Our firm is located in the northern part of Serbia in Kanjiza near to the Hungarian border and given its geographic location we are mainly specialized in importing products from Hungary. Next to that we work with suppliers from other EU countries as well like Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. In addition, we also export agricultural and food products to the EU.
Thanks to our well-built logistical infrastructure and business connections we are supplying our products to all the major retailer chains in Serbia. We also deliver commodities to the food industry, predominantly to the confectionary producers. All this represents a yearly turnover of 3.000 metric tons.
With the help of our +5; and -18°C temperature cold-stores and own vehicles we are able to serve hundreds of our partners on a daily basis.
Among the wide range of our products one can find breaded and filled turkey products, frozen turkey leg, breast, wings; cold cuts, sausages, frankfurters; liver pates; mangalica pork products; smoked turkey leg; original Pick winter salami; Trappist and Karavan cheeses; processed and round-packed cheeses, luncheon-meat, pates; frozen maroon puree, French fries and many more.
Based on the existing activity in 2011 we launched our first retail shop in Belgrade under the name Hungarikum Centar which was followed by an opening of 4 other shops in Novi Sad, Subotica and Kanjiza in the last few years. In these nicely decorated shops we aim to present to our customers the products of well-known Hungarian and local producers but we also offer special products like the world famous porcelains of Zsolnay or other handmade textiles and ceramics decorated with Hungarian motives.
In 2017 we started a new project that aims to integrate the beekeepers in Vojvodina (Northern Serbia), collect their honey and process it in a professional way. To meet these requirements we started the construction of a brand new processing plant with a yearly capacity of 1.000 tons which started its operation in July 2018. In order to best distinguish the honey products made by us we introduced a new brand called TISAMED.
During our work it is of high importance to meet the quality requirements of our customers and also to be in line with international standards. Therefore we have it in focus to work according to the food standards of ISO 22000:2005, IFS and other requirements set by our customers.
